New energy company, Nova Energy enters the Auckland market this month by rolling out an innovative plan to help more Kiwis go solar which will help deliver savings on annual energy bills. Visitors to the Yellow Auckland Home Show can be some of the first in Auckland to sign up to this new 100% New Zealand owned energy company specialising in Gas, Electricity, LPG and Solar energy.

Through Nova Energy consumers can take advantage of the $1000 government solar grant, pay for their SolarElite system as they use it, reduce their energy bill over time by going solar – and reduce their carbon footprint.

Nova Energy has come up with an innovative solar hot water heating and electricity plan to help more Kiwis go solar, which has already proven very popular with many households signing up in the Bay of Plenty, Taranaki and Waikato.

Nova customers can install the SolarElite hot water heating system and pay for it via  monthly energy bills while they use it. It’s a really easy way to go solar, with no interest, no deposit, no up-front fee and no finance companies. And at the end of five years homeowners will have effectively future-proofed their energy costs and will make significant savings on their energy bills, plus they will also have added a $5000+ asset to their home.

Nova Energy is also offering Aucklanders its Dual Fuel gas/electricity plan which thousands of Wellington residents have already switched to and offers just one fixed daily charge for households that use both natural gas and electricity.
